Welcome to Durham!
On the eve of the 2006 CHCC Annual Study Course I would like to welcome 'virtual participants' to the on-line updates from Durham.

While the experience will not be the same, the on-line daily source updates will enable a wider audience to share in our deliberations. In addition to a 'blog' containing a summary of each day there will be pictures to accompany the narrative.

Also, for the first time, some elements of the conference will appear on-line as MP3 files allowing non-resident chaplains to benefit from the addresses. We hope that a full archive of talks will follow, as well as the annual on-line edition of the Journal of Health Care Chaplaincy.

Finally, if through reading or hearing the conference reports you have a question you would like raised, why not participate further by e-mailing your comments to chris.swift@orange.net.

Dates of the Conference:
The course runs from Monday 3^rd to Thursday 6^th July and the topic is 'Chaplaincy - The New Profession'. Updates will normally be available on-line sometime after 5.00 pm each day.

Audio Files:
To listen to the MP3 files, click on the link with the left mouse button. To save the MP3 files to disc, click on the link with the right mouse button and choose save to disc. The audio files range is size from 1.5 Mbs up to 32 MBs so some of them will take several minutes to download even with broadband. Do not attempt to download them with a 56kb modem else you could be waiting well over one hour and you could lose the connection.
